Wednesday, September 4 - Beechwood Farms Education Building, Trillium Room, 614 Dorseyville Road, 15238. 10:30 a.m., Business Meeting, 11:30 am Lunch - (Bring your own lunch - water provided.).  

                      12:00 Program - "Birding 101" Have you heard the bird call you? Can you see him/her? Do you know where to look?  Chris Kubiak, Director of Education for the Audubon Society, will get us started in 'birding.' Birding is watching birds in the wild with the added goal of identification. By trying to identify a species, you get to know the bird and its habitat better—by watching its movements, noting its field marks, considering its call.

Thursday, September 5 - District IX Annual Meeting, Hosted by Moon Township Garden Club at Montour Heights Country Club, 1491 Coraopolis Heights Road, Moon Township, 15108.  9 am - Registration/Coffee, 11 am - Annual Meeting, 12 - Luncheon Buffet/Raffle, 1 pm - Program - Dr. Silloo Kapadia - "Culinary Herbs in the Home Garden for Use and for Delight."
